Dr. Andrew Pashler
Andrew spent 3 years studying, in Wales, for his first degree in biomedical sciences, before continuing to dentistry, where he qualified at Barts and the London. At University, he won prizes for his casework which has nurtured his interest in treating anxious patients. He enjoys putting them at ease in the dental surgery. Andrew is passionate about furthering himself and is currently studying towards a PGCert in Primary Dental Care at the University of Kent. Outside of dentistry, Andrew enjoys football and loves to follow his hometown team Northampton, as well as exploring new places.
Dr. Arturas Zalkauskas

Arturas qualified in 2006 from Vilnius University in Lithuania. He joined the Pennypot team in 2009. Everyone tends to call him by his English name Arthur. He regularly attends dental courses in order to keep up to date with his dental interests in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He devotes a considerable amount of time looking for new innovations to provide the newest and best treatment methods for his patients.
Recently he started a new course about dental implants. He is always keen to share his knowledge to meet his patient’s expectations. As Arthur says “It is such a great feeling to make people happy”.
Dr. Davina Philips

My special interests include crown and bridge work, clear and fixed braces, smile design and veneers, cosmetic bonding and aesthetic dentures. I also provide Somnowell devices, which have proven to be a very effective method of stopping snoring and reducing snoring related sleep loss.
I have undertaken further education in these aspects of cosmetic dentistry and am currently training in the field of dental implant placement. I regularly attend courses to update my knowledge and understanding of the latest technology, materials and methods available.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and baking. I have a keen interest in cake decorating and also try to make time for travel.
Dr. Kunal Shah

Kunal qualified from King's College London in 2013. He then achieved a diploma in Primary Dental Care with the University of Kent.
His particular interests are restorative, prosthodontic and restorative dentistry including tooth whitening, cosmetic work and dentures. Having grown up in Kenya and being of Indian heritage, Kunal enjoys wildlife photography, travelling and cooking. He also enjoys watersports and scuba diving as well as spending time with family.
Dr. Manish Taank
Manish qualified from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2015 and has also achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Dental Care with distinction from the University of Kent in 2016.
Outside of Dentistry, Manish enjoys travelling, reading and staying fit. He also enjoys playing playing and watching various sports such as football and cricket.
Dr. Manoj Patel

Manoj places Dental Implants (well over six hundred now), these are the best solution for getting you own teeth back and restoring your confidence about your smile. It avoids the embarrassment of having removable dentures and the chewing difficulties they cause. It also can help secure loose dentures giving you more confidence to tackle foods and speaking in public without worry of them moving around or falling out. The traditional method of replacing a few teeth is to use bridges, these use the teeth either side of the gap to hold a row or a single tooth, this can damage these teeth, dental implants avoids this complication.

Dr Manoj Patel has a wealth of experience and Knowledge in tackling difficult dental problems. Manoj has a patient and warm caring manner. He qualified from Guys Dental Hospital in London in 1999. He has been a Prosthodontic registrar and house officer at Guys Dental Hospital tackling complex patients who have been born without any teeth, lost teeth due to accidents, worn their teeth down. Manoj has completed a Masters in Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics from the University of London and passed the tough Membership in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He regularly attends lectures and Dental conferences both here and in United States of America to further his expertise. He is on the General Dental Council list of Specialist dentists. He also gives lectures to and mentors other Dentists and in the past was a teacher to dental students.
Dr. Naishad Patel

Naishad (Nash) graduated in 1990 from University of Liverpool. After graduation, he worked in East London for two years before relocating to Hythe in 1993 to set up the original Pennypot Dental Practice.
Pennypot Dental Practice has since expanded to over twenty surgeries in five different locations and now Nash mainly manages the practices in Hythe, Hawkinge, Deal Ashford and New Romney.
Nash believes in continuous learning and attends many courses to ensure Pennypot Dental is providing the highest standards of service and treatment to its patients in a safe environment. Nash has plenty of experience in general dentistry, endodontics, restorative dentistry, full mouth reconstructions and sedation for nervous patients. He particularly enjoys providing cosmetic treatments such as smile design where the results can be life changing and improve patients’ confidence.
Dr. Nami Farkhondeh

After completing his dental degree at the Royal London Hospital and a year of vocational training, Nami held a number of positions as Senior House Officer and Staff Grade in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in some of the most prestigious hospitals in England. This is where he learnt his basic and advanced surgical skills.
He then undertook his Masters of Science training programme at Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Hospital where he learnt all aspects of Periodontology. He has also completed the Advanced Diploma in Implant Dentistry course at the Royal College of Surgeons England.
In his spare time Nami enjoys travelling, reading and playing the guitar.
Dr. Narjan Gurung

I Graduated from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2006 and I have been working as a general dental practitioner since then. I joined Pennypot Hawkinge in 2016 having worked in Manchester for a couple of years. I have a special interest in restorative dentistry and always want to see patients happy. I like to attend various continuing professional development courses to enhance my knowledge and skills in dentistry to provide the best to our patients. Currently I am attending a course on implant placement. During my leisure time I love watching sports and going for a drive in the countryside.
Dr. Nasir Ahmad

I qualified from Birmingham University in 1999 and worked in West Midlands for four years. I moved down to Kent in 2004 and became a partner in a large practice in Ashford. After selling the practice I started working for Pennypot in 2013.
I have worked in an orthodontics in 2012. I also have a keen interest in Sedation and have been SAAD certified in this area as well as enjoying cosmetic work and have recently undertaken the Aspire cosmetic course.

Graduated from Guy’s, Kings and St Thomas dental institute in 2003. I have a special interest and have completed further courses in: Veneers, Smile Design, Whitening, Invisible Braces Clear Aligner, Inman Aligner and Six Month Smile, Implants and Cosmetic Dentures.
I have continued my education in specialist fields of dentistry by attending courses throughout the UK and abroad, thus making sure that my clinical skills are up to date to enable me to deliver high quality dentistry to my patients.

I moved from London to Glasgow to study dentistry in 2006 and moved to Ashford in 2011. I love living in Kent and enjoying the countryside and everything Ashford has to offer.

Dr. Rakhee Patel

Rakhee was born and raised in Kent, and has also completed her vocational training in Medway. She has an artistic eye for dentistry and is a firm believer of minimally invasive, ethical and preventative dentistry.

Qualified from kings college London in 2013, completed vocational training at a busy south London practice. After which I moved back to kings to work in hospital in the maxilofacial department whilst working part time in practice.
In my free time I enjoy keeping active and fit. As well as cycling and cricket, recently I have also taken up mountain climbing; having climbed mt. Kilimanjaro and Everest base camp last year. Away from sports, I also enjoy reading, films and gardening.

I am a General Dental Practitioner and joined Pennypot in 2010.
I have extensive experience in assessing and treating clients with a wide variety of dental health issues and problems. I have special interest in cosmetic dentistry. I work well on nervous patients to help tackle their anxiety and enjoy treating children.
I have two young daughters who take up most of my time away from work. When I get the chance I enjoy cooking, movies and travel.
Dr. Sawan Tailor

I qualified from the University of Leeds in 2015 and completed my foundation year in Cumbria. I joined Pennypot Dental in 2017 to experience a new challenge and to share my passion for healthy teeth and gums. I enjoy restorative dentistry, prosthetic cases and treating nervous patients. Outside the confinements of the surgery, I am currently pursuing my MFDS qualification and attending various courses to enhance my technical ability. My hobbies include dancing, football, hiking and socialising.
Dr. Shaira Samad
Since graduating in 2003, I worked in the Maldives for 10 years. In 2014, I started working at a private practice in Essex after moving to England. Before joining Pennypot I worked in a mixed practice in the Northeast. I am passionate about dentistry and have a keen interest in bridges, crowns and cosmetic dentistry.
Outside of work, I love reading and going to the gym when I can find the time.

Graduated from India in 2010. I keep abreast with latest techniques and attend lectures and events to polish my knowledge and skills.

After working as a dental nurse for many years I decided that I would like to become a hygienist and treat patients myself.
I qualified jointly as a hygienist and therapist from the Royal London in East London. It was a great place to study treating adults and children in the dental hospital.
Since qualifying I have focused on the hygiene side of my work, I like winning over nervous patients and improving people oral health.
I have lived and worked in London up until 2015. I used to keep sane in London by living on a narrow boat and staying close to nature.
Now I live in St Margaret's and enjoy mostly walking the dogs and being outside. Other hobbies are camping and cooking.
