Cleaning

Plaque will start to form on your child’s teeth and gums as soon as their first tooth erupts. It is essential to develop a suitable brushing routine with your child that will continue throughout their life.

- Use a suitable toothbrush- various types are available that suit your child’s age and stage of tooth development.
- Use a pea-sized amount of children’s fluoride toothpaste.
- Supervise your child’s brushing.
- Do not clean teeth immediately after eating sugary substances, leave for at least 30 minutes before brushing.
