Naishad Patel Naishad graduated in 1990 from University of Liverpool. After graduation, he began his Vocational Training and then continued as an associate dentist in London. He worked at Kent & Canterbury Hospital Oral Surgery Department for one year to improve his skills in complicated extractions. He then relocated to Hythe in 1993 to set up Pennypot Dental. He started the clinic as an one-surgery practise and has expanded into a six-surgery practice today.
Over the past 12 years he has dedicated time to train newly qualified dentists. Dr. Patel is among a very few who are selected to provide this service in the areas of Kent, Surrey and Sussex. At the moment, Naishad works at Pennypot Dental as well as in the Specialist Restorative Unit of Mayday Hospital in Croydon.
Naishad believes in continuous learning and he attends many courses to ensure Pennypot Dental is providing the highest standards of service and treatment to its patients in a safe environment. He has completed 300% of the required continuing professional development set by the General Dental Council. He has also recently completed courses in advanced smile design held by the country's leading dentists in the field.
Naishad has a special interest in general dentistry, endodontics, restorative dentistry, full mouth reconstruction and sedation for nervous patients. He particularly enjoys providing cosmetic treatments such as smile design where the results can be life changing and improve patients’ confidence.
Outside dentistry, he enjoys spending any spare time with his wife and two young children. He likes to keep fit by running and he is a committee member for the Ashford Asian Society.
