Implant Retained Dentures
Tired of loose uncomfortable dentures? Dentures that make you gag? Want more chewing power? Then implant retained dentures or fixed implants are your solution!
What are Implant Retained Dentures?
These are Dentures that are supported by and attached to implants. There are a variety of reasons why people may not be able to wear a traditional removable denture.
Lower jaw: Losing your teeth leads to bone loss if they are not replaced. If a substantial amount of bone loss occurs, the lower jawbone may not be able to support a denture. Inserting two implants into the lower jawbone provides a solid foundation for a denture that otherwise a patient may not have been able to wear.
Upper jaw: Some people may not be able to wear traditional upper dentures because their gag reflex is oversensitive. Having upper implants allows the size of the denture base to be reduced and made into an arch shape, rather than occupying the entire palate.

- Upper implant dentures will improve your taste as less plastic coverage of your palate.
- Your ability to eat and speak will be greatly improved.
- Implants prevent the bone loss that occurs when you have missing teeth, allowing your facial structure to be maintained.
- The lip support provided by implants will reduce the amount of wrinkles you get around your mouth.
